Protests

People are protesting against their governments all over the world...
There are protests against draconian laws and bad policies on a regular basis, but they are mostly ineffective.

We need a simpler, more powerful solution...

Unifying Protests

We want to transform and unite all protests, from being many different negative campaigns against various wrongs, into a single positive campaign to provide a legal means to solve all of those problems in one simple change in law...

So instead of negative protesting against specific wrongs, which take the following form:

  "We want the government to stop doing X"

We change to positive protest for the solution:

  "We want the Veto: A legal mechanism which allows us to stop any government policy."

If we can get this law in place, there will never be a need to protest again...

Any genuine grievance of the people will be solvable, peacefully, at home, via a VETO petition.

Making Protests Unnecessary

In a civilised society there should be no need for protests against unpopular dictats from an arrogant government...

We should not have to stand in the streets, often in the rain and cold, holding placards to try and persuade our elected representatives to actually represent us, often only to be ignored.

Protests on the streets are a sign of an unhealthy, unhappy, and uncivilised society.

It is really beyond the intelligence of mankind to come up with a better way?

We think the Veto is a better way... Do you agree?

If the Veto was law, there wouldn't be any need to protest.

Not Negative Action, Positive Action

We have to focus on what we do want, not what we don't want.

We have to have a positive goal to work towards, if we want success. Working against something is much more difficult.

If we want the world to stop changing for the worse, we need to be proactive...

Proactive: "taking action by causing change and not only reacting to change when it happens"

Instead of protesting against bad policy, protest FOR The VETO...!
